As part of the strategy against the introduction of African swine fever in the American continent, the OIE Regional Representative for the Americas participated in the Second Meeting of the GF-TADs Standing Group of Experts on this disease for the Asia Region, in Tokyo on July 30 and 31. The objective of the meeting was to develop recommendations on biosecurity and border controls that could contribute to curbing the spread of African swine fever and its devastating consequences.
