In the Office of the Subregional Representation in Panama as well as the Regional Representation in Buenos Aires, it is clear to us that being part of an international organization implies many qualities. Coordination is an essential tool for the optimization of time, capacities and resources.
Unlike the OIE Headquarters, where each Department deals with a particular issue, in the Regional Representations we cover all issues involving the Americas Region.
From the logistical part in the continuous coordination of workshops, conferences and trainings, through institutional visits, and including the technical part in our role as Veterinarians, coordination of activities is essential. Although our team may seem small, a good coordination and communication inside and outside our offices provides us the necessary tools to continue building on our mandate to strengthen the Veterinary Services of the Americas Region.
