To strengthen integrated surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in the Americas region, the PAHO-FAO-OIE Tripartite alliance, is implementing the regional project “Working Together to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance”, with support of the European Union.

In such project, a cycle of online seminars on the Role of Molecular Biology in Integrated Surveillance of AMR under the One Health approach, will be held between August and October 2020. These seminars were organised by PANAFTOSA/PAHO, in close collaboration with OIE and FAO.

The focal points designated for this project and professionals linked to AMR surveillance from the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Environment of each of the countries participating in the project: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, will participate in this seminar.
